Aqua Elements - Mineral Based Make Up Developed By Lauren Hutton
Lauren Hutton hits a home run with her mineral based make designed for faces 35 and older. In this article I’m going to discuss the benefits of using her makeup as opposed traditional mineral based makeups that leave crowds 35 and older out in the dark.
Lauren Hutton decided to rejoin the modeling life at age 46, and that’s when she decided that someone need to develop a makeup for the older crowd. She uses stone-based formulas with the intention of providing natural looking cover for older skin. As some of the older crowd addressed concerns that many mineral make ups leave “a shiny white mask” her intent was to develop a makeup that avoids this problem. To avoid this, Hutton uses primarily rock minerals, which don’t create the white mask effect. Sure, you can achieve this without her make-up, but often times that involves finding the exact shade of your skin, a challenge that requires the help of a skilled cosmetologist.
So, what’s in her make up?
Well for starters, Malachite - which is sort of like a protective layer for the skin against daily environmental hazards. The also provides some moisturization properties.
Then there is Hematite, which creates elasticity to the skin. Hematite is composed of large volumes of Vitamin C and iron. Another benefit of this is that it acts like a wrinkle filler which makes the skin look naturally plump as well as increasing natural collagen production
And then there is Smithsonite, another protective layer to battle environmental stress and increase collagen production. It also provides some anti-bacterial benefits.
She also helps prevent drying of the skin by using a water based formula.
Here make-up kit includes one compact of base elements, one of color elements, one of tinted lip balm, a spice lip pencil, and a premium powder brush. These are available in 4 shades which should be utilized based on your skin skin: pink for porcelain skin, yellow for light to medium skin, olive for medium and brown for darker skin.
